Environmental Policy
Right now is a pivotal time to be grappling with environmental issues and studying the policies and tools necessary to create the communities and world we want to see as the 21st century continues to unfold. The M.A. in Environmental Policy prepares students to act on the challenges presented by climate change and urbanization. The program’s interdisciplinary coursework covers the legal and political structures that do (or might) oversee, regulate, manage, subsidize, or otherwise affect environmental sustainability, environmental injustices, and environmental health. It also teaches about the social practices, moral authority and economic dynamics that affect interventions. Students gain further insights through independent research and community-based projects and internships.
